Dhruv Jurel’s fantastic catch off Akash Deep’s bowling sent Musheer Khan packing for a duck.
In the ongoing Duleep Trophy 2024 tournament, India A wicket-keeper showcased brilliant athleticism behind the stumps. Jurel took a brilliant one-handed catch to dismiss India B batter Musheer Khan for a duck on Saturday, September 7.
This incident happened during the sixth over of India B’s second innings, bowled by India A speedster Akash Deep.
On the last bowl of the over, right-arm speedster Akash Deep bowled an ordinary and harmless delivery down the leg stump towards India B batter Musheer Khan.
The young batter shuffled across the stumps and tried to flick the ball. However, the ball took a thin inside edge, and wicket-keeper Dhruv Jurel dived towards his left to take a one-handed screamer. Musheer, who scored a brilliant 181 runs in the first innings, went for a six-ball duck in the second.

India B bowls out India A for 231 runs in Bengaluru
Earlier, India B made 321 runs after they were struggling at 94-7 in their first innings. Youngster Musheer played a fantastic knock of 181 runs off 373 deliveries, including 16 boundaries and five sixes.
Musheer stitched a 205-run stand with Navdeep Saini, who chipped in with 56 runs. In reply, India A were bundled out for 231 runs. India B pacers Mukesh Kumar and Navdeep Saini bagged three wickets each.
At the time of writing, India B have made 53/3 in 10 overs and they lead by 143 runs. Sarfraz Khan (27) and Rishabh Pant (10) are at the crease.
