[Watch] KL Rahul gets bowled by Washington Sundar while mistiming a paddle-sweep

KL Rahul was dismissed for 37 runs by Washington Sundar in Duleep Trophy 2024 tournament.
In the ongoing Duleep Trophy tournament, India B off-spinner Washington Sundar displayed his cunning skills as he bowled India A batter KL Rahul on Saturday, September 7.
The incident happened during the 49th over of India A’s first innings.
On the first delivery of the over, Washington bowled a tossed-up delivery on off-stump towards Rahul. The India A batter went for a paddle sweep, but there was a sharp dip and turn, which outdid Rahul. The ball turned in sharply, beating Rahul’s bat and then it crashed into the leg stump.
After the dismissal, Rahul shook his head in disappointment while walking towards the pavilion. The right-handed batter played a gritty knock of 37 runs off 111 deliveries, including four boundaries.
Musheer Khan’s stunning 181-run knock puts India B in a comfortable position
Earlier in the match, India B young batter Musheer Khan played a fantastic knock of 181 runs off 373 deliveries, including 16 boundaries and five maximums. The youngster stitched a 205-run partnership with Navdeep Saini, who scored 56 runs. India B scored 321 in their innings.
At the time of writing, India A are at 216/7 after the end of 66 overs. Tanush Kotian (20) and Akash Deep (5) are at the crease.
