Navdeep Saini dismissed Shubman Gill for 25 runs in the Duleep Trophy 2024 match in Bengaluru.
In the ongoing Duleep Trophy 2024, Navdeep Saini showcased his skills as he dismissed India A captain Shubman Gill with a stunning in-swinger on Friday, September 6.
Earlier, after being asked to bat first, India B posted 321 runs in the first innings. Musheer Khan’s stunning knock of 181 runs and Navdeep Saini’s 56 runs helped India B reach above the 300-run mark after they were struggling at 94-7 at one stage.
In the first innings of India B, openers Mayank Agarwal and skipper Gill provided a good start as they scored 48 runs in the first 13 overs.
Navdeep Saini castled Gill’s off-stump with a peach delivery
During 14th over India B’s first innings, Saini bowled an in-swinger, which dismantled the off-stump India A captain Gill.
The right-arm speedster bowled a length ball outside off, nipped back in sharply towards the right-handed batter. In a brainfade moment, Gill didn’t offer a shot and left the delivery. The ball came in sharply and castled his off-stump.
India B captain Gill made 25 runs off 43 deliveries, including three boundaries.
