Duleep Trophy 2025-26: Squads of all participating teams

Six teams will participate in Duleep Trophy 2025-26.

Indian cricket domestic season 2025-26 is all set to start with the Duleep Trophy. The tournament will commence on August 28 and witness a clash between six teams for the title.

The tournament has returned to its traditional zonal format where, North Zone, South Zone, East Zone, West Zone, Central Zone, and North East Zone will battle for the title. A total of five matches will be played during the tournament.

All of the matches will be played at the Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) Centre of Excellence Grounds, Bengaluru. The Duleep Trophy 2025-26 final will be played from September 11 to 15.

South Zone are the defending champions, who won the previous edition in 2023-24 by defeating West Zone in the final. Since South Zone and West Zone were the finalists of the last edition, they will directly play in the semi-finals.

The BCCI has released the full squads of all six teams which will participate in Duleep Trophy 2025-26. Shubman Gill and Tilak Varma are the skippers of North Zone and South Zone respectively. Shardul Thakur and Ishan Kishan are set to lead West Zone and East Zone respectively.

Central Zone will be led by Dhruv Jurel, while North East Zone will be captained by Jonathan Rongsen. All the teams have also named seven standby players for the tournament.

North Zone squad:
