South Zone and Central Zone have booked a berth in the Duleep Trophy 2025-26 final.

The semi-finals of the Duleep Trophy 2025-26 concluded on Sunday, September 7, with South Zone and Central Zone qualifying for the final.

South Zone and North Zone clashed in the 1st semi-final of the tournament. After being asked to bat first, South Zone piled up 536/10 in the first innings, with a century by opener N Jagadeesan (197). Devdutt Padikkal (57), Ricky Bhui (54), and T Thyagarajan (58) slammed half-centuries. For the North Zone, Nishant Sindhu clinched a five-wicket haul.

Later, the North Zone managed to post 361 runs, with a century by Shubham Khajuria (128) and a half-century by Nishant Sindhu (82). Gurjapneet Singh clinched a four-wicket haul for South Zone.

In the second innings, South Zone piled up 95/1 till the end of the final day with a half-century by Jagadeesan (52*). The match ended in a draw and South Zone qualified for the final.

In the 2nd semi-final, the West Zone and the Central Zone clashed with each other. Opting to bat first, West Zone were bowled out for 438 runs in the first innings, with a century by Ruturaj Gaikwad (184). Tanush Kotian (76) and skipper Shardul Thakur (64) hammered crucial half-centuries.

Central Zone piled up a mammoth total of 600/10, with half-centuries by Danish Malewar, Shubham Sharma, Rajat Patidar, Upendra Yadav, Harsh Dubey, and Saransh Jain. In the second innings, West Zone reached 216/8 till the conclusion of the final day. The match ended in a draw, and Central Zone booked a berth in the final.

The final between South Zone and Central Zone will begin on September 11 at the BCCI Centre of Excellence Ground, Bengaluru.

North Zone batter Ayush Badoni is the leading run-scorer in Duleep Trophy 2025-26 after the semi-finals with 307 runs. Central Zone players Danish Malewar (294) and Rajat Patidar (268) are next on the list. Shubham Mishra grabs the fourth spot with 252 runs, while N Jagadeeshan occupies the fifth spot with 249 runs.
