Central Zone won the last edition of the Duleep Trophy.
Duleep Trophy is India’s premier first-class competition on the domestic circuit. The inaugural edition was played in 1961–62, and 62 editions have been successfully held so far. The 2026 edition of the Duleep Trophy will begin on August 23 (Sunday).
The teams are Central Zone, North Zone, West Zone, South Zone, East Zone and the North East Zone. The season will start with the match between East Zone and North East Zone, while the second quarter-final will be played between North Zone and West Zone on the same date.
The Duleep Trophy 2026-27 will kick off the Indian domestic season for the red-ball format. This tournament will feature some of the top cricketers in Indian cricket.
Ruturaj Gaikwad, Mohammed Shami, Ishan Kishan, Rajat Patidar, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Tilak Varma and many more big names will be part of the upcoming edition. Before the tournament, let’s take a look at the squads of all six teams.
