Jos Buttler is also doubtful for the five-match ODI series against Australia.
England cricket team‘s white-ball captain Jos Buttler has been ruled out of the upcoming three-match T20I series against Australia, starting on September 11. The wicket-keeper batter is also doubtful for the five-match ODI series as he is yet to recover from his calf injury.
Buttler suffered a calf injury while preparing for the Men’s Hundred tournament in July, which ruled him out of the tournament.
Following his calf injury, the England white-ball captain was looking to make his comeback in Lancashire’s quarterfinal match against Sussex in the T20 blast ahead of the T20Is against Australia. However, he now faces the threat of missing the rest of the home summer.
