The 1st ENG vs IND ODI will take place on July 14 at Edgbaston.

India are set to clash with England in a three-match ODI series. The Men in Blue will aim for a big comeback in the campaign after their disastrous performance in the recent T20I series, which they lost 4-0.

Indian captain Shubman Gill will have the responsibility to lead the team to victory in the ODI series. Last month, India bagged a whitewash against Afghanistan in the ODI series and will leave no stone unturned to outplay the Three Lions in the three-match series.

The first ENG vs IND ODI will be played on July 14 at Edgbaston in Birmingham, followed by the second encounter on July 16 at Sophie Gardens in Cardiff. The final match will be held at The Lord’s (London) on July 19.

In keeping with their tradition, England have announced their playing XI a day before the first ODI. Jacob Bethell has been named as an opener alongside Ben Duckett.

Will Jacks, Liam Dawson, and Adil Rashid will lead England’s spin attack. Jos Butter is set to script history by playing his 200th ODI for England at Edgbaston. The wicket-keeper batsman made his international debut against Pakistan in Dubai on February 21, 2012.

Jofra Archer, Josh Tongue, and Sam Curran, who also impressed with their form in the T20I series, will lead team’s pace attack in the opening game.
