India lost back-to-back T20I series.

The Indian Cricket Team faced yet another humiliating defeat against England (ENG vs IND) in the 4th T20I at the County Ground in Bristol. Harry Brook & Co. crushed the Men in Blue by nine wickets to capture the five-match series 3-0, with one more game left.

Shreyas Iyer won the toss and opted to bat first in the clash. However, India once again failed to post a respectable total. The top order failed to go big yet again, with openers Vaibhav Sooryavanshi (15) and Abhishek Sharma (16) getting out cheaply and No. 3 Ishan Kishan scoring just four runs.

Iyer led the batting from the front, scoring an unbeaten 80 runs off 49 deliveries with five sixes. However, he failed to capture enough runs towards the end, with no support from other batters. Jofra Archer and Josh Tongue clinched 2 wickets each, and England’s bowlers restricted India from reaching a mammoth total.

India ended with 158/7 on the board, which was not enough to outplay the home team. In the chase, Phil Salt once again rocked with the bat, scoring an unbeaten half-century.

After Jos Buttler lost his wicket in the third over, Salt and Harry Brook (79*) etched a magnificent unbeaten partnership of 146 runs to propel England to a victory by 9 wickets. Indian bowlers were completely helpless against the duo, with Arshdeep Singh being the only one to get one wicket in his kitty.
