England at ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024: Squad, schedule, venues, timings, dates, live streaming details and all you need to know
England are one of the strong contenders to lift the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024.
England won the inaugural edition of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in 2009. They have, however, not won any out of the seven editions since then. They did reach consecutive finals in 2012 and 2014, but suffered defeats at the hands of the Australia women’s team both times.
So far, the England women’s team have played 38 matches in the Women’s T20 World Cup. Out of these, they won 28 matches and lost just eight.
The Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 will be played from October 3 to October in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), where England will look to end their Women’s T20 World Cup title drought. They are placed in Group B along with the West Indies, South Africa, Scotland and Bangladesh.
The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has continued with Heather Knight as the skipper.
