England schedule for ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024 - Timings, dates, venues and all you need to know

England will take on Bangladesh to kick-off their ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 campaign in Sharjah.
The ICC T20 World Cup 2024 will take place from October 3 to 20 in the UAE. 23 matches will be played in the 10-team tournament across Dubai and Sharjah.
The tournament opener will see Bangladesh take on Scotland in Sharjah and the final will be played in Dubai.
The competition was originally scheduled to be played in Bangladesh. However, because of the ongoing protests in the country, which have turned violent, the ICC moved the tournament to the UAE.
The 10 teams have been divided into two groups of five. The top two teams from each group will proceed to the semi-finals.
Talking about the England women’s cricket team, Heather Knight’s side is a strong contender to lift the title this year.
England are placed in Group B alongside South Africa, West Indies, Bangladesh and Scotland.

Group B: South Africa, England, West Indies, Bangladesh, Scotland

England will play their first three games in Sharjah. Their campaign will get underway against Bangladesh on October 5, followed by clashes with South Africa and Scotland. Their last group-stage match will be played in Dubai against West Indies on October 15.
