England Cricket team unveiled their official kit for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 on September 28.
The first game of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 is just a sleep away. The opening encounter will have England and New Zealand facing each other at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. This will start the cricket carnival in India. There will be a total of 48 games among ten teams at ten different venues in India.
The first game will have the defending champions, England, starting their journey to title defense on October 5. England will enter the tournament as one of the favorites to win. On September 28, England unveiled their official kit for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. Since 1992, the trend of colored jerseys has come into existence; before that, teams used to use white kits in World Cup events as well. England Cricket Team jersey for ICC Cricket World Cup 1992 :
The ICC Cricket World Cup 1992, known as the Benson & Hedges World Cup, was the first time teams introduced colored kits to play with. Australia and New Zealand were the co-hosts of the tournament, which had nine teams and a total of 39 games. England revealed their kit that had their traditional blue color, and it was baby blue with red, green, and navy blue stripes on the shoulder. Led by Graham Gooch, England finished as runners-up.
England Cricket Team jersey for ICC Cricket World Cup 1996 :
The ICC Cricket World Cup 1996 was held in Asia (India, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka), and it was the first time that more than 10 teams (12) were taking part in it. Michael Atherton led the England Cricket Team. England had a totally different patterned jersey in the tournament that had a vintage blue color with white and navy blue lines in the middle. It also had rainbow patterns in the middle, just above the team's logo. England finished in 8th place in the tournament.

England were the co-hosts of the 1999 World Cup, along with Ireland, Netherlands, Scotland, and Wales. This was the second consecutive season when England finished in 8th place out of 12. Alec Stewart was leading the English team. In this tournament, England changed its color from a light blue to a vibrant blue. It was undoubtedly striking with its vivid crimson panels. The right side of the jersey featured another inventive use of the coat of arms.

Nasser Hussain led the England cricket Team in the 2003 Cricket World Cup held in South Africa, Kenya and Zimbabwe. This tournament saw a total of 14 teams, with two groups of seven each. England were in Group A, and unfortunately, they couldn't qualify from the group stage and finished 9th in the table. In that tournament, England had Vodafone as its main sponsor, which had a logo on the jersey which was navy blue in color with a red color at the top and the team's logo on the top left.
England Cricket Team jersey for ICC Cricket World Cup 2007 :
Led by Michael Vaughan, England entered the 16-team ICC Cricket World Cup 2007 tournament as one of the favorites. It was held in the West Indies and had a total of 16 teams, which were divided into four groups of four teams. England finished fifth in the tournament. They had a pretty similar jersey as in the 2003 edition, which had navy blue as its main color and red sleeves with the team's logo on the top right corner.

The ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 was held in India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka, respectively. This tournament had 14 participating teams, which were divided into two groups of seven. England finished the tournament in the quarterfinals under the captaincy of Andrew Strauss. With one red sleeve, red trim, and white piping, England's World Cup jersey was blue. In terms of colors, the Bermuda team jersey somewhat resembles it.

With Adidas as its main sponsor, England launched their official kit ahead of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015. Led by Eoin Morgan, England finished 10th in the tournament, which was played in Australia and New Zealand. The launched jersey was totally dark blue and had the Adidas logo on the sleeves with a black print in the middle. The team's logo was on the top of the left corner.

England won the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 at home, beating New Zealand in a controversial final at Lord's. It was the first time that they became champions. Eoin Morgan led the team to glory. England were sporting the template kit in baby blue. The dark blue abruptly changed to a lighter tone. The English team pulled off this throwback homage in the finest of fashions.

The official kit for the upcoming mega event was unveiled on September 28, which has red stripes on the side and a mixture of light and dark navy blue colors. The left upper side of the jersey features the team's logo with a star above it, signifying England's victory in the 2019 World Cup.
