Not India! Pakistan, Australia to tour England as ECB announces home schedule for 2027 season

England will host the Ashes in 2027.
The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has released the home schedule for the England Men’s and Women’s teams. Moreover, they have also published the schedule for the Mixed Disability teams.
England will be hosting ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2025-27 Final for the third time in a row. This time it will be at the Oval, London, from June 9. England Men will begin their home calendar with a five-match ODI series against Pakistan.
The ICC Cricket World Cup is scheduled to be played in October-November of 2027, and to prepare for that, The Three Lions will engage in an ODI series with New Zealand in September, comprising of five ODIs.
Apart from the ODIs, England will clash with the Australia for the Ashes 2027. The first Test will start from June 18 at Trent Bridge, Nottingham. Prior to the official Tests, one full strength Warm-up game will be played between the two sides.
Moreover, Bangladesh will be touring England for a one-off Test fixture to be played at the Lord’s Cricket Ground, London, from May 28. England’s Men’s team is scheduled to play only one T20I series at home in 2027, which will be against New Zealand in September.
