Three ODIs and three T20 matches will be played between England and West Indies from May 29.

England announced their squads for the upcoming white-ball series against the West Indies. Notably, this will be Harry Brook’s first series as England’s white-ball skipper. Brook was nominated as England’s ODI and T20I captain last month by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB).

England and the West Indies will lock horns in three ODIs and three T20Is during the series, which will take place in England. The ODI series will be played first, followed by the T20I series. The first ODI encounter will take place on May 29 at Edgbaston in Birmingham.

The next two games will be played at Sophia Gardens and Kennington Oval on June 1 and 3, respectively. The West Indies tour of England 2025 will conclude with the 3rd T20I encounter on June 10 at The Rose Bowl, Southampton.

England squad for ODI and T20I series against West Indies

On Tuesday, May 13, England announced their squad for the upcoming T20I and ODI series against West Indies. ECB named a 16-member squad for the ODI series and a 15-member squad for the T20I series.

ENG ODIs squad vs WI: Harry Brook (C), Joe Root, Jofra Archer, Gus Atkinson, Tom Banton, Jacob Bethell, Jos Buttler, Brydon Carse, Ben Duckett, Tom Hartley, Will Jacks, Saqib Mahmood, Matthew Potts, Jamie Overton, Adil Rashid, and Jamie Smith.

ENG T20I squad vs WI: Harry Brook (C), Rehan Ahmed, Tom Banton, Jacob Bethell, Jos Buttler, Brydon Carse, Liam Dawson, Ben Duckett, Will Jacks, Saqib Mahmood, Matthew Potts, Jamie Overton, Adil Rashid, Phil Salt, Luke Wood.

Under Brook, the England Cricket Team will commence a new journey in the white-ball formats. Notably, they recently dropped to eighth place in the ICC’s latest ODI team rankings. The West Indies are in ninth with a slight difference in rating points.

Also, the Caribbean side can leapfrog them in the rankings if they win the forthcoming ODI series. Shai Hope will lead West Indies in the ODI series against England.
