The recently concluded test series between the England Cricket Team and the Indian Cricket Team was arguably amongst the best series in recent times. It ended in a 2-2 draw, which in itself reveals the kind of impact that both teams made in the five games.

The England vs India series was a high-scoring one, with batters of both teams giving their best. But, there was also help for bowlers as well with all the frontline pacers challenging the batters throughout the series as the competition between bat and ball stayed very high.

The series started in Leeds, where England chased a mammoth total of over 370 runs to win the game by five wickets. In the second match, the visitors made a strong comeback, winning the game by 336 runs at Edgbaston in Birmingham. Following that, at the Lord’s, the crowd witnessed a thriller.

The game went down to the wire, and ultimately, it was the Ben Stokes-led side that ended up winning the game by 22 runs. The hosts then dominated the major part of the fourth test at Old Trafford Stadium in Manchester. But, the Shubman Gill-led side displayed a brilliant effort and managed to draw the game.

The last match at The Oval was the best of the series. It saw India winning the game by a margin of just six runs. On the last day they needed to defend just 35 runs and they did that to level the series by the margin of 2-2.
