India Women and England Women will clash in three ODI games.

The England Women Cricket Team have announced their squad for the upcoming ODI series against India Women Cricket Team. Skipper Nat Sciver-Brunt will be back after an injury to lead the side in the 50-over series.

Sciver-Brunt was ruled out of the ongoing T20I series against India Women due to a groin injury. She suffered the injury while batting in the second T20I. Later, she was ruled out of the remaining three games.

Tammy Beaumont was appointed as the skipper of the T20I series and also led the team to victory in the third T20I encounter. Maia Bouchier, who replaced Sciver-Brunt in the T20I squad, has also been named in the England squad for the ODI series. Spinner Sophie Ecclestone, who missed the previous ODI series against West Indies Women, is also back in the squad.

England Women squad for ODI series against India Women

England Women squad: Nat Sciver-Brunt (C), Em Arlott, Tammy Beaumont, Lauren Bell, Maia Bouchier, Alice Capsey, Kate Cross, Alice Davidson-Richards, Charlie Dean, Sophia Dunkley, Sophie Ecclestone, Lauren Filer, Amy Jones, Emma Lamb, Linsey Smith.

The ODI series will commence from July 16 with the first ODI at The Rose Bowl, Southampton. The second ODI will be played at Lord’s Cricket Ground in London on July 19. The final encounter will take place on July 22 at Riverside Ground, Chester-le-Street. Harmanpreet Kaur is the captain of the India Women in the ODI series.

Meanwhile, the T20I series is currently underway between both teams. India Women lead the five-match series 2-1. They won the opening T20I by 97 runs and the second T20I by 24 runs.

In the third T20I, England Women clinched a victory by five runs in a thrilling clash to keep their series-win hopes alive. Both teams will now clash in the 4th T20I on July 9 at Emirates Old Trafford, Manchester.
