Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) skipper Rishabh Pant was the shining light for his team with the bat in the game against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). The 70th game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 took place at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow on Tuesday, May 27.

Rishabh Pant was undergoing a massive dip in form till the game against RCB. But it was a big relief for the Indian cricket team that the wicketkeeper-batsman returned to form and played a brilliant innings. The Southpaw promoted himself to three, and then after that, it was all about him in the first innings.

Rishabh Pant came out all guns blazing as he slammed RCB bowlers all over the park. The keeper-batter looked in superb touch as he played audacious shots in his innings, making almost everyone in the stadium stand and applaud him for his heroics.

Rishabh Pant first went to his half-century in 29 balls and, after that, made sure that he cashed in on the start that he had. The keeper-batter then looked at his brutal best as he hit the ball in all corners of the park and ended up converting his half-century into a magnificent ton.

Rishabh Pant brought up his century in 54 balls as he completed his second century in the history of the league. Even after this, he ensured that he stayed at the crease till the end and took his team to a huge score.

What caught the attention of many was a celebration of Rishabh Pant after he completed his century. The keeper-batter kept his bat and helmet at the side and then came up with the Spiderman jump to celebrate his second century in the league.

While his celebration caught the attention of many, one of the shocking things went viral on the internet. After he performed the jump, Virat Kohli’s wife Anushka Sharma and her friend, who were in the stands, called Rishabh Pant stupid.
