Rishabh Pant will be next seen in action in the Duleep Trophy next month.

India wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant encountered a desperate request for money from a fan on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday as the fan sought assistance from the cricketer to fund his college fees. Known for his generosity and helpful nature, Pant gave a heartwarming reply to the fan and aided him, which earned him praise from the netizens.

Rishabh Pant is one of the premier Indian cricketers who has attained the love and respect of fans through his numerous entertaining and match-winning knocks, the most famous of which remains the Gabba heist in 2021 against Australia.

Further, Pant is also adored by the fans for his casual nature that doesn’t ooze any arrogance of a celebrity. This was reflected in his response to a fan who asked him for money.

Rishabh Pant pays INR 90,000 to fund the education fees of a Twitter user

A user on X (formerly Twitter) made a crowdfunding campaign to pay his college fees. He tagged Pant in his tweet with a special request.

The user, @TrueIndScenes, tweeted, “Hello @RishabhPant17 Sir I’m a student struggling to fund my engineering education. Your support can change my life. Please consider helping or sharing my campaign. Your kindness would mean everything to me. #CrowdfundingCampaign #Cricket“

Pant paid INR 90,000 to the user for his education fees. Another user shared a screenshot of Pant’s payment.

Pant replied, “Keep chasing your dreams. God has better plans always tc (take care).”

However, it is now believed that the user lied to the cricketer and had apparently lost money on betting.

Meanwhile, Pant is aiming for a return to the test side in the upcoming home test series against Bangladesh, which will start on September 19. He will make his case with the Duleep Trophy 2024/25, which will get underway on September 5.
