India vs Pakistan clash in Asia Cup 2025 will take place on 14th September.

The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) on Saturday (26th July) announced the schedule of Asia Cup 2025. After all the controversies and debates, the tournament finally got the nod ahead and will be played in September, later this year.

Due to the political tensions between India and Pakistan, there were a lot of clouds hovering over the future of Asia Cup 2025. Especially, after the Pahalgam terror attack, there were calls to completely boycott the cricketing ties with Pakistan, with some asking the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to pull out of the tournament.

Recently, former Indian players in Yuvraj Singh, Shikhar Dhawan, Yusuf Pathan and Harbhajan Singh pulled out of the game against Pakistan Champions in World Championship of Legends (WCL) 2025. As a result of that, the game between the two teams was cancelled by the organisers.

It was then expected that a similar fate would befall the India vs Pakistan clash in Asia Cup 2025. However, that wasn’t the case as the schedule of the tournament was announced and it will run from 9th September to 28th September with matches being played in the UAE.

The India vs Pakistan game will be played as both teams are placed in the same group. The match between the two teams is scheduled to take place on 14th September. Although the venues are yet to be announced, it is expected that the clash between them will take place in Dubai, since it has a big stadium.

India and Pakistan could meet thrice in the Asia Cup 2025 if they both reach the final. Both will first play in the group stage, and then, if they qualify, which is most likely to happen, they will then lock horns with each other in the Super Four stage.
