The test series between India and England is at 2-1 with one game to go.
Indian Cricket Team produced a magnificent draw out of nowhere in fourth test of the five-match series against England Cricket Team. The match between the two teams took place at Old Trafford in Manchester.
India were down and dusted in the match right from the start. After being asked to bat first, they were at the helm of tough batting conditions. However, despite that, they posted a total of 358 with half-centuries from Yashasvi Jaiswal (58), Sai Sudharsan (61) and Rishabh Pant (54).
With the ball, they were put under pressure, and England piled up a massive total of 669 runs. Joe Root (150) and Ben Stokes (141) slammed brilliant tons, while fifties by Ben Duckett (94), Zak Crawley (84) and Ollie Pope (71) helped the hosts take a lead of 311 runs.
It was almost certain that India would lose the game as they were 0/2 in the second innings. However, skipper Shubman Gill (103) and KL Rahul (90) added 188 runs to bring their team back in the game.

India started day five with 174/2, trailing by 137, but they didn’t give a great start as KL Rahul added just three runs to his overnight tally. However, on the other hand, Shubman Gill completed his fourth century of the series. But at the end of the first session, India were under pressure with both the set batters back.
However, Ravindra Jadeja (107*) and Washington Sundar (101*) brought their team back in the game. The duo stitched an unbeaten 203 runs for the fifth wicket and batted for two sessions to save the test match. India ended with 425 for four as the game ended in a draw.
