He is having a staggering game as he also picked a five-wicket haul with the ball. He became the fourth England player to grab a fifer and score a century in a test match.

With Stokes’ ton, England crossed 600 runs on the board in the first innings. The hosts have earned a 200-plus lead in the encounter and are dictating the terms in the Manchester test.
