India won Asia Cup 2025 without losing a single game in the tournament.

The Indian Cricket Team won Asia Cup 2025 as they beat the Pakistan Cricket Team in the final by five wickets at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai on Sunday. They won the tournament undefeated, which says a lot about their performance.

Pakistan had a watchful yet powerful start to their innings. Sahibzada Farhan (57) and Fakhar Zaman (46) batted brilliantly and added 84 runs for the opening stand. They put Indian bowlers under pressure and hit them in all corners of the park.

Farhan hit his second consecutive fifty against India, while Fakhar anchored the innings well. However, after that, Indian spinners made a terrific comeback as Pakistan faced a terrible collapse.

Kuldeep Yadav picked four wickets in a flash, while Varun Chakravarthy and Axar Patel also bagged two wickets each. Jasprit Bumrah was amongst the wickets as well as Pakistan lost the last nine wickets for just 33, getting reduced from 113 for one to 146 all out.

In the chase, India had the worst possible start to their innings. Man in form Abhishek Sharma got out for just five in the second over. Soon after that, skipper Suryakumar Yadav, who was out of form, was back in the hut for one as India were left reeling at ten for two.

Shubman Gill, who looked good, also threw away his wicket as three Indian wickets were back in the dressing room in the power play. With the team under pressure, Tilak Varma (69*) and Sanju Samson (24) steadied the ship with their brilliant 57-run partnership for the fourth wicket.

While Sanju got out in the 13th over, Tilak slammed a brilliant fifty under pressure. Shivam Dube (33) also played a vital  role as he and Tilak added 60 runs together. With ten runs needed in the last over, Tilak played sensationally well and took his team home with five wickets in hand.
