Shubman Gill hammered his tenth test century.

Indian Cricket Team skipper Shubman Gill continued his good form with the bat in tests as he racked up yet another century. The premier batter set the stage on fire in the ongoing second test against the West Indies at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

Shubman Gill, who walked out to bat in the last session of day one, looked solid right from the start, opening his account with a brilliant boundary. The Indian skipper after that didn’t look back and made sure that he continued his golden run with the bat in the series.

After slamming a brilliant fifty in the first match in Ahmedabad, Shubman Gill started from where he left off. The premier batter first provided great support to Yashasvi Jaiswal, who played an innings of 175 runs off 258 balls.

The miscommunication that saw Jaiswal getting run out, seemed to give Gill more responsibility as he then unleashed himself and played magical shots. The Indian skipper entertained the crowd and made sure that he put his team in a dominating position.

Continuing with the overnight score of 20, Gill first paved his way to the sensational fifty and then converted that into a brilliant hundred. He slammed his tenth century and reached the landmark in 177 balls.

Since taking over the captaincy, Gill has unleashed his best with the bat. He took over the baton of the team in England and in his maiden series as captain, he hit 754 runs with four centuries and now has been again right on the money in the West Indies series.
