Virat Kohli slammed his 53rd century in the ODI Cricket.

The Indian Cricket Team batter Virat Kohli continued his fine form in the ODIs as he slammed a magical century in the second ODI against the South African Cricket Team. The match between the two teams is taking place at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur. 

Virat Kohli, who slammed a brilliant century in the first ODI in Ranchi, ensured that he came up with a similar kind of effort in the ongoing second match. The right-hander walked out to bat in the power play itself and opened his account with a massive six off Marco Jansen. 

He looked sublime touch as he carried off from where he left in Ranchi. The premier batter played from gorgeous shots in his innings, which came at a time when India were under pressure, having lost both the openers early in the innings.

Virat Kohli along with Ruturaj Gaikwad (105) steadied the Indian ship and added 195 runs for the third wicket. He played as a second fiddle to a young batter but was making sure that he played his part to perfection, scoring runs at a consistent pace.

Virat Kohli after getting to his fifty made sure he slams his second consecutive century of the series. The premier batter completed his ton in just 90 balls and became the first batter in the history of the game to slam 53 tons in a single format.

Virat Kohli with his ton also scripted history, becoming the first player to score back to back for 10 times in ODI Cricket History. He ended with an innings of 102 runs off 93 balls to go with seven fours and two sixes.
