Indian batsmen have hit some of the fastest centuries in T20I cricket.

The record for the fastest century in men’s T20I cricket belongs to Estonia’s Sahil Chauhan, who cracked a 27-ball ton against Cyprus in June 2024.

It is indeed not a surprise anymore that a batsman has slammed a century in less than 30 balls. The modernisation of the white-ball game, expedited by T20 cricket, has been such that batting records are now always under threat because of the pitches getting flatter, bats getting bigger, and batsmen getting stronger.

The Indian cricket team were the champions of the inaugural T20 World Cup. But, it took them a long time to adopt the modern-age batting template of aggressive cricket. Once the Indian batsmen started giving themselves more freedom, they, too, started shattering records.

In this article, we will see the Indian batsmen who have hit the five fastest T20I hundreds.
