A Ghaziabad woman has filed an FIR against Yash Dayal over sexual exploitation and physical violence.
The Uttar Pradesh police have filed an FIR against India and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) pacer Yash Dayal over sexual exploitation, physical violence, mental harassment, and cheating by making false promises of marriage.
The FIR has been filed by a Ghaziabad woman, who alleged that the fast bowler mentally and physically exploited her on the pretext of marriage.
The woman first registered her complaint on June 14 through the women’s helpline number. Later, she filed a complaint through the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister’s grievance portal, IGRS.
The woman was in a relationship with Yash Dayal for five years

In her complaint, the woman alleged that she had been in a relationship with the RCB pacer for the last five years. She also revealed that Dayal introduced her to his family as their daughter-in-law, which made her trust him.
“For the last five years, the complainant was in a relationship with a cricketer. The man emotionally, mentally and physically exploited her by misleading her with the promise of marriage. He introduced the complainant to his family as their daughter-in-law, which made her trust him completely,” the complainant wrote in her complaint.
However, she later found out that Dayal had similar relationships with other women.
“During the relationship, the complainant was made emotionally and financially dependent on him. Later, she found that the man was involved in similar relationships with other women as well. She has chats, screenshots, video calls, and photos etc as evidence”, the complaint further added.
Now, a senior UP police officer has revealed that an FIR has been registered against Dayal under section 69 of the Bhartiya Nyaya Samhita (BNS).
“The FIR was registered against Dayal (27) at Indirapuram police station on Sunday under BNS Section 69 (sexual intercourse by deceitful means, including a false promise of marriage)”, the police official was quoted as saying by PTI.
Meanwhile, Dayal was last seen in action in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, where he was part of the champions RCB. The left-arm pacer captured 13 wickets in 15 games during the tournament. He also plays for Uttar Pradesh in domestic cricket.
