IPL 2026: Full squad of Delhi Capitals after mini-auction ft. Prithvi Shaw, KL Rahul

Delhi Capitals had a sensational time in the IPL 2026 auction, where they signed some of the big overseas as well as young Indian stars.

Former Indian Premier League (IPL) finalists, Delhi Capitals (DC), came to the auction table hoping to add more steel to their team for the new season. DC, had eight slots to fill and their first pick of the day was veteran South African batter David Miller, whom they bought for INR 2 crores.

English opener Ben Duckett was also purchased for his base price of INR 2 crores by the Axar Patel-led side. Faf Du Plessis’ exit from the team means that Duckett is the hot favourite to open the batting with KL Rahul at the top of the order.

DC buy Auqib Nabi, Prithvi Shaw at IPL 2026 auction

DC’s biggest deal was that of Jammu and Kashmir star Auqib Nabi Dar who was picked for INR 8.4 Crores. There was visible joy in DC’s camp once the 29-year-old was secured considering his current purple patch with the ball.

Pathum Nissanka will be plying his trade at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in what is set to his maiden appearance in the league. The 27-year-old was picked for INR 4 Crores, which could be one of the best deals in the current auction.

DC made a few late additions to their squad as they picked up South African pacer Lungi Ngidi for INR 2 Crores. Under-19 star Sahil Parakh was purchased for INR 30 Lakhs in the accelerated part of the auction process.

Maharashtra batter Prithvi Shaw is set to rejoin DC side as he was picked for INR 75 Lakhs. The 26-year-old last played for DC in the IPL 2024 season and then was released from the squad ahead of 2025 season. Shaw did not find any find any buyers in the IPL 2025 auctions. New Zealand pacer Kyle Jamieson was the last player to be picked for INR 2 Crores in what was the last pick of the day.
