Asia Cup 2025 will begin on September 9 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and witness a battle among eight teams for the title. The tournament will also witness a star-studded commentary panel comprising former Indian and Pakistani players.
Indian cricket legends like Sunil Gavaskar, Ravi Shastri, and Virender Sehwag are part of the commentary panel for the tournament. Gavaskar and Shastri will be joined by Sanjay Manjrekar, Robin Uthappa, Waqar Younis, Wasim Akram, Bazid Khan, Russel Arnold, and Simon Doull in the English commentary unit.
In the Hindi commentary panel, Sehwag, Irfan Pathan, Ajay Jadeja, Abhishek Nayar, Vivek Razdan, and Saba Karim will entertain the fans. The tournament will also witness regional coverage. WV Raman and Bharat Arun will be part of the Tamil panel, while Venkatapathy Raju, Venugopal Rao, Ravi Teja, and Gnaneswara Rao will lead the Telugu commentary.
Sony Sports Network to provide coverage of Asia Cup 2025 in India

Sony Sports Network will present the coverage of the upcoming Asia Cup in India. Sony Sports channels will present the live telecast of the match, while the SonyLiv app and website will present the live streaming.
India, Pakistan, Oman, and the UAE are clubbed in Group A. Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Hong Kong are placed in Group B. In the opening game, Afghanistan and Hong Kong will clash on September 9 in Abu Dhabi.
India, led by Suryakumar Yadav, will begin their journey in the tournament with the clash against the UAE on September 10 in Dubai. Later, they will lock horns with Pakistan on September 14 and Oman on September 19. The Men in Blue are the defending champions of the tournament.
Notably, arch-rivals India and Pakistan are expected to clash multiple times during the tournament. If they reach the final, they will face each other on three occasions during the campaign.
Dubai International Cricket Stadium and Sheikh Zayed Stadium are the two venues in the UAE that will host all the matches of the Asia Cup. The final will be played on September 28 in Dubai.
