[Watch] Hardik Pandya scripts perfect revenge, uproots Sunil Narine's leg stump after getting hit for a 6

Sunil Narine scored eight runs before getting dismissed by Hardik Pandya.
In match No. 51 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, Mumbai Indians captain (MI) Hardik Pandya took revenge against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in-form opener Sunil Narine by uprooting his leg stump after getting hit for a six at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on May 3.
After winning the toss and opting to field first, five-time champions Mumbai had a perfect start with the ball as hosts picked up three wickets from Philip Salt (5), Angkrish Raghuvanshi (13) and skipper Shreyas Iyer (6) inside the first three overs.
With Mumbai looking to take more wickets in the first powerplay, skipper Pandya brought himself into the attack. On the very first ball of the over, KKR opener Narine hammered Hardik for a huge maximum over deep backward square leg.
However, on the very next ball, Hardik took his perfect revenge as he uprooted Narine’s leg stump. Pandya bowled a length ball around the leg stump, and the opener cleared his front leg, aiming for consecutive boundaries.
However, Narine missed it completely as the ball shattered his stumps. Soon after the dismissal, Pandya went off to a celebratory run towards wicket-keeper Ishan Kishan, while in-form batter Narine headed back towards the KKR dugout in disappointment. During his stay at the crease, Narine scored eight runs including one maximum.
