[Watch] Pakistan pacer Haris Rauf fires warning to India ahead of Asia Cup 2025

Haris Rauf said that Pakistan will win both games against India in Asia Cup 2025.

Pakistan pacer Haris Rauf has fired a big warning to India ahead of Asia Cup 2025, saying that his side will defeat the Men in Blue in both matches during the tournament. India and Pakistan are clubbed in Group A of Asia Cup 2025, and might face each other three times in the tournament.

Oman and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are the other two teams placed in Group A. India and Pakistan will clash in the group stage on September 14 in Dubai. Moreover, they are highly likely to face each other in the Super Four round too.

If both teams reach the final, they will play against each other a total of three times in the tournament. Both India and Pakistan have announced their squads for Asia Cup 2025. While Suryakumar Yadav will lead India in the tournament, Salman Ali Agha has the reins of Pakistan team.

Ahead of start of the tournament, a video of Pakistan pacer Hair Rauf is doing rounds on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), where he is seen claiming that the Men in Green will win both games against India in Asia Cup 2025. In the video, a fan asked Haris Rauf about India vs Pakistan clash in Asia Cup 2025, to which he replied, “Dono Apne hai, Inshallah” (Both matches are ours).

Meanwhile, Asia Cup 2025 will commence on September 9 in the UAE. Pakistan will play their opening game against Oman on September 12. India will clash with the UAE on September 10 in their first encounter.

The other four participating nations, who are placed in group B are – Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Hong Kong. Abu Dhabi and Dubai in the UAE will host all matches of the tournament, where India will defend their title.
