Harmanpreet Kaur to be fined 75% of match fees, receive 4 demerit points for outburst against Bangladesh women - Reports

Harmanpreet Kaur smashed the stumps after being given out in the 3rd ODI against Bangladesh women.
India women’s captain Harmanpreet Kaur is set to pay dearly for her antics in the recent third ODI against Bangladesh which ended in a thrilling tie as the ICC is planning to punish her severely, as per reports.
The series was shared by the two teams but some of the things that happened in the game stole the limelight.
During the second innings, Harmanpreet Kaur attempted to sweep a fullish delivery but was called out for LBW. The Indian captain, though, disagreed with the umpire's decision. She smashed the stumps with her bat to let out her rage.
The 34-year-old was spotted speaking animatedly to the umpire as she was leaving the field, and during the post-match awards ceremony, she openly criticized the umpiring, calling it "pathetic."
ICC set to punish Harmanpreet Kaur severely for her antics - Reports
According to a report from Cricbuzz, it appears that the seasoned campaigner would get into trouble for her antics in the third ODI. According to the report, match referee Akhtar Ahmed rated Kaur's behavior as a Level 2 offense.
"For the on-field incident (smashing the wicket) she will be fined 50 percent of her match fee while for the way she represented herself her in the presentation ceremony, she will be fined 25 percent of her match fee," the report stated.
The seasoned cricketer will also receive three demerit points in addition to a punishment equal to 75% of her match cost. Out of the three demerit points that Harmanpreet Kaur will receive, two will be for her on-field actions after her dismissal, while one will be sanctioned for her open criticism of the level of umpiring in the presentation ceremony.
Harmanpreet Kaur was also slammed by Bangladesh captain Nigar Sultana who said that the Indian skipper should’ve behaved with better manners.
