PCA to honour Harmanpreet Kaur with stand after her name at Mullanpur Stadium

Harmanpreet Kaur recently captained India to ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 title triumph.
Indian Women’s Cricket team captain, Harmanpreet Kaur, is all set to have a stand named after her at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh Stadium in Mullanpur. The 36-year-old recently revealed this in what is a big update for women’s cricket in India.
The Mullanpur Stadium was established in 2021 and hosted its first international fixture on September 14, 2025. The Indian Women’s Cricket Team played two WODIs against Australia Women in Mullanpur just before ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025.
Harmanpreet Kaur to have stand named after her

Harmanpreet Kaur will become one of the few Indian Women cricketers to have a stand named after her. Recently the ACA-VDCA Stadium in Visakhapatnam also named a stand after the former India captain Mithali Raj. Another Indian women’s cricket great, Jhulan Goswami, also has a stand named after her at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
Harmanpreet Kaur recently became only the third Indian cricketer, after MS Dhoni and Kapil Dev, to win the ODI World Cup, which is considered the ultimate prize in world cricket. Under her leadership, India defeated South Africa in the final of ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup at the Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai to lift the title on 2nd November.

Kaur to be back in action soon
The Indian women’s cricket team, which is having a break after the glorious Women’s ODI World Cup campaign, will be back in action next month. The Women in Blue will take on Sri Lanka in a five-match T20I series starting on December 21 in Visakhapatnam.
India will look to kick-start the preparations for the Women’s T20I World Cup, which will be held in June-July next year in England and Wales. Harmanpreet Kaur is determined to add one more ICC trophy to India’s trophy cabinet.
