Harry Brook has put his name in IPL 2024 auction which will take place on December 19.

Harry Brook, England batter, who was released by his IPL franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) ahead of IPL 2024 auction, sent a huge message to the franchises. This came after England recorded an epic win in the 3rd T20I against West Indies.

West Indies, put into bat first by England at National Cricket Stadium, St Georgeโ€™s, Grenada, posted 222/6 in 20 overs. Nicholas Pooran made 82 in 45 balls with 6 fours and 6 sixes, while Rovman Powell (39) and Sherfane Rutherford (29) made quick contributions.

For England, Adil Rashid and Sam Curran picked up two wickets each.

In response, Jos Buttler (51) and Phil Salt added 115 runs for the opening wicket in 11 overs. Salt went on to score his maiden T20I hundred and remained unbeaten on 109 in 56 balls with 4 fours and 9 sixes. Liam Livingstone made 31 in 18 balls with 3 sixes.

But it was Harry Brook, who hammered Andre Russell in the 20th over to win the match when 21 runs were needed in 6 balls.

England were relying on Brook, who scored 7 off 2 deliveries before the start of the 20th over, with 21 needed off the final 6 balls. Brook concluded the high-scoring T20I in the following five balls, giving England registered one of the most memorable away triumphs in the shortest format.

Four, six, six, two, and six โ€“ this is how Brook devastated Andre Russell, who couldnโ€™t stop an on-song Brook from wreaking havoc in Grenadaโ€™s series decider.

Brook batted at an astounding strike rate of 442.86 in the third T20I of Englandโ€™s action-packed series against West Indies. Englishman remained unbeaten on 31 off 7 balls as Jos Buttler and company brought down the mammoth 223-run mark with one ball remaining.

With the IPL 2024 auction approaching, franchises might eye to sign Harry Brook, who was bought by SRH in the last auction for a whopping INR 13.25 crores. Brook was released by SRH last month.
