Marnus added 361 runs with David Warner for the second wicket during his marathon innings. Australia won the test by an innings and 48 runs. Warner was named Player of the Match for his sensational triple hundred in the game.
4. 163 vs West Indies, Adelaide, 2022
Labuschagne played a terrific knock of 163 runs against West Indies in the Adelaide test in 2022. Batting first, Australia made 511/7d on the back of Labuschagne’s sublime innings of 163 runs off 305 balls, which included14 boundaries.
Australia won the test convincingly by 419 runs. Labuschagne was then named Player of the Series for scoring 502 runs in two games.
3. 185 vs Pakistan, Brisbane, 2019
Another Marnus Labuschagne masterclass came during the Pakistan tour of Australia 2019 when the right-hander whacked 185 runs in the first innings of the Brisbane test.
Labuschagne’s match-winning innings, which consisted of 20 boundaries, propelled Australia to a massive first-innings score of 580 runs.
Australia won the game by an innings and five runs on the fourth day and Labuschagne was named Player of the Match.
2. 204 vs West Indies, Perth, 2022
Labuschagne registered a superb double hundred against West Indies in 2022 in Perth.
After opting to bat first on a good pitch, the Australian innings was anchored by Labuschagne, who scored 204 off 350 balls. The No. 3 joined hands with Steve Smith to add 251 runs for the third wicket.
Labuschagne’s sensational innings included 20 boundaries and a six. Australia won the test by 164 runs and Labuschagne was named Player of the Match.
1. 215 vs New Zealand, Sydney, 2020
Labuschagne hammered his highest score in test cricket during the Sydney test against New Zealand in 2020. Labuschagne’s 215-run knock was his first double-hundred in test cricket.
Batting first, Australia notched up 454 runs on the back of Labuschagne’s stunning double ton, which included 19 boundaries and a six.
Australia ultimately won the test by 279 runs on the fourth day and Labuschagne was named Player of the Match for his maiden double hundred.
