Top 5 highest scores by Ravindra Jadeja in test cricket

Ravindra Jadeja made his test debut in 2012 and has featured in over 80 test matches.

Ravindra Jadeja donned the test cap for the first time in 2012 and soon became a first-choice player in India’s test XI owing to his ability to make contributions in all three departments.

Although as a bowler, he remained under the shadows of R Ashwin for the majority of his career, there were matches in England and South Africa where the southpaw was preferred over the senior off-spinner when India wanted to play four seamers and only one spinner.

While Jadeja’s test career has predominantly been built over his match-winning bowling efforts in Asia, he has also played several crucial knocks with the bat lower down the order.

The rise in his batting over the past eight years has been terrific – since 2016, only in one year (2021), his batting average was below 30. In fact, in five of those years, his batting average was over 40

In this article, we will discuss Jadeja’s top five scores in test cricket.
