Only four times 250+ has been successfully chased at the Lord’s in test cricket.
Lord’s Cricket Stadium in London, which is regarded as the Home of Cricket, is one of the oldest and most popular cricket grounds in the world.
Lord’s is often considered a challenging venue to score runs. However, many batters have scored centuries at the stadium over the years and scripted their names on the Honours Board. Similarly, many bowlers have hunted five-wicket hauls at the venue to inscribe their names on the Honours Board.
Lord’s is often considered a tricky venue to chase totals in tests. If we look at successful chases at the stadium in tests, a 250-plus total has been chased only on four occasions. Moreover, 300-plus total was successfully chased at the venue only once.
Out of the top five successful chases in tests, three were registered by the hosts, England. On that note, below are the top five highest successful chases at the Lord’s.
