Rishabh Pant-led Rest of India won the Irani Cup 2026.

ROI later gave Jammu and Kashmir a target of 279 after their second innings, thanks to the only centurion of the match, Ravichandran Smaran. The 23-year-old scored 135 runs off 153 deliveries in the second innings. The Ranji Trophy champions failed to match the target and were eventually all out for a mere 111, losing the match by a resounding margin of 167 runs.

However, the best bowler tag for the Irani Cup would go to Mukesh Kumar. He did not have the best of his time in the first innings, taking 2 wickets and conceding 84 runs, but later played the role of a destroyer against Jammu and Kashmir. In the second innings, Mukesh Kumar took six wickets while conceding only 33 runs.
