How much does India's new T20I jersey cost?

The newly designed T20I jersey will be worn by the Indian cricket team in the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2026.

India’s T20 World Cup defence will be done in new threads as the ICC event begins on February 7 and the final will be played on March 8 in either Ahmedabad or Colombo. India are the reigning T20 World champions, having won the tournament in 2024 in the USA and the West Indies under the leadership of Rohit Sharma.

India’s new look T20I jersey was unveiled recently during the India vs South Africa ODI series in Raipur on December 3, 2025. This ODI was played at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. Notably, both India and South Africa were the finalists of the 2024 edition of the T20 World Cup.

This latest version, which was formally unveiled by adidas, the team’s longtime kit supplier, embodies both modern style and the essence of Indian cricket.

India’s T20 World Cup 2024 winning captain Rohit Sharma, young player Tilak Varma, and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) officials attended the inaugural event, which signalled the beginning of India’s campaign build-up for the tournament co-hosted by Sri Lanka and India.

In contrast to the lighter, more straightforward 2024 design, India’s new T20 World Cup shirt has a deep blue foundation, vivid orange side panels, and striking vertical stripes. A new identity is added by the tricolour shifting to the collar.

The jersey combines high-performance innovation with nostalgia, drawing inspiration from India’s famous striped uniforms from the 1990s.
