However, two names caught the attention of Indian cricket fans: Aaryavir Sehwag, son of former Indian cricket legend Virender Sehwag, and Anvay Dravid, son of former Indian cricket legend Rahul Dravid, have been selected to represent India in the tournament.
Indian fans who have witnessed the Sehwag-Dravid duo play for the senior national team know how formidable they were in international cricket. Sehwag was one of the most destructive batters of his time, while Dravid was known for his calm and composed approach and earned the nickname “The Wall.”

Both youngsters have earned their places in the team through brilliant performances in age-group cricket. Sehwag also plays in the Delhi Premier League, and during the 2026 Vinoo Mankad Trophy, he scored 173 off 143 balls for Delhi against Chandigarh.
Anvay, who represents Karnataka in domestic cricket, also performed brilliantly in the Vinoo Mankad Trophy, scoring 151 off just 100 balls against Gujarat.
