How did Rohit Sharma & Virat Kohli perform in ENG vs IND 2nd ODI?

Virat Kohli impressed, but Rohit Sharma could not make a mark in the 2nd ENG vs IND ODI.
India are clashing with England in the 2nd ODI on July 16 at Sophia Gardens in Cardiff. Shubman Gill & Co. won the opening game by six wickets after chasing down a 259-run target like a walk in the park.
Since the ENG vs IND ODIs consist of three encounters, the visitors can win the series if they crush the home team once again. Harry Brook won the toss and opted to field first in the clash. Unlike the last game, he decided to chase this time.
The Men in Blue failed to replicate their batting show from the opening game. India were bowled out for just 233/10 in the first innings. Gill, who scored a half-century in the 1st ODI, lost his wicket for just 31 runs.
Later, veteran batters Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma helped the team to reach 104/2 with their 60-run stand. Ishan Kishan, who was picked in KL Rahul’s absence, could only score one run.
At one stage, Kohli and Shreyas Iyer were doing a brilliant job at the crease; however, once Kohli lost his wicket, India suffered a big batting collapse.
From 178-4 in the 32nd over, India crumbled to just 233 all-out, with an exceptional comeback by England pacers Jofra Archer and Gus Atkinson, both of whom bagged three wickets each.
Virat Kohli hit a fifty while Rohit Sharma flopped once again

Rohit Sharma got out for just 11 runs in the 1st ODI and could not make a mark once again. Hitting one four and a six, the right-handed batsman scored 26 runs off 47 deliveries at a strike rate of 55. He became a victim of Will Jacks in the 18th over, getting an edge to wicket-keeper Jos Buttler.
Jacks bowled a flighted delivery on middle and leg, and Rohit sat down to play the sweep. The ball got right off the toe-end and went to the left of Buttler as he took a simple catch. Rohit could not find his rhythm and was dropped early on.
On the other hand, Virat came up with a far better show than the opening game, in which he lost his wicket for just five runs. He hit eight boundaries to score 65 runs off 66 deliveries at a strike rate of 98.48.
He became a victim of pacer Jofra Archer in the 32nd over, caught by Adil Rashid at third man. Kohli looked to whip the ball into the leg-side, but the back-of-a-length delivery bounced more and flew off the top-edge. Rashid came in from third man and took a simple catch.
