The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 final will be played on March 9 in Dubai.

The ongoing ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will conclude on Sunday, March 9 with the final between India and New Zealand in Dubai.

India edged past Australia by four wickets in the first semi-final, while the Kiwis defeated South Africa by 50 runs on March 5 in the second semi-final in Lahore.

Both teams have shown exceptional discipline in all three departments. India have been led by a four-man spin attack, while New Zealand have relied on their seam bowling. However, the Kiwis will closely monitor star pacer Matt Henry, who is doubtful for the final due to a shoulder injury.

In the batting department, Virat Kohli and Rachin Ravindra have been the leading run-scorers for their respective sides in the ongoing tournament. After missing the first match, Ravindra smashed centuries against Bangladesh and South Africa to propel his team to the final.

Kohli, on the other hand, has thrived on the slow Dubai track. The veteran Indian batsman has rotated the strike against spinners, allowing other batsmen to play more aggressively.

Ahead of the final between the two sides, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has unveiled the match officials, who will officiate the clash on Sunday in Dubai.

ICC, on Thursday, confirmed that Paul Reiffel and Richard Illingworth will be the two on-field umpires for the clash, while Joel Wilson and Kumar Dharmasena will be third and fourth umpires respectively. Former Sri Lankan cricketer Ranjan Madugalle will be the match referee.
