ICC Champions Trophy 2025: List of umpires announced

ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will be played from February 19 to March 9.
The ICC Champions Trophy is set to return after eight years. The last edition of this competition took place in 2017 in England, where Pakistan claimed their first title by defeating India in the final.
The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will start on February 19, 2025, in Karachi and end with the final on March 9 in Lahore (or Dubai if India qualifies). Eight teams are divided into two groups – Group A and Group B. The group stage will be followed by the semi-finals and the final.
Group A includes India, Bangladesh, New Zealand and defending champions Pakistan. Group B consists of England, Australia, South Africa and Afghanistan.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has now announced the list of officials for the upcoming tournament.

Sean Easey, ICC Senior Manager – Umpires and Referees, stated that the combined experience and expertise of these match officials will ensure that the tournament runs smoothly.
Sean said, “We are pleased to announce this highly credentialed team of match officials for the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025. Their collective expertise and experience will be invaluable in ensuring the tournament runs smoothly.”
He also expressed confidence in the appointed officials, emphasizing that the ICC is committed to selecting the most deserving match officials for such prestigious events.
He added, “We always strive to appoint the most deserving officials for such prestigious events, and we are confident that this group will do an outstanding job in both Pakistan and the UAE. We wish them all the best for a memorable tournament.“
Umpires: Kumar Dharmasena, Chris Gaffaney, Michael Gough, Adrian Holdstock, Richard Illingworth, Richard Kettleborough, Ahsan Raza, Paul Reiffel, Sharfuddoula Ibne Shahid, Rodney Tucker, Alex Wharf, Joel Wilson.
Match Referees: David Boon, Ranjan Madugalle, Andrew Pycroft.
