We are just two weeks away from the first ball to be bowled in the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 in India. It will start with a game between England and New Zealand at the Narendra Modi Stadium. Ten teams are participating in the competition, and all are looking tough enough to prove their chances. India and Australia are among the top favorites to win the tournament.

However, before that, these two teams will face each other in the three ODIs starting on September 22. That will be a great practice for these two teams. Well, Australia are the most successful team in the World Cup tournament, and they have won five titles. They perform best when it matters a lot. Though there are some injury concerns in the team, they have players to win the tournament. Meanwhile, the Australian Cricket Board also revealed their official kit for the coming tournament.

They have gone with a traditional Australian gold color with the team's logo on the left and the World Cup 2023 logo on the right top side. This jersey shows the legacy of the team that they had in the World Cup tournament. The new kit stands apart from other jerseys due to the infusion of Indigenous artistry. On the side of the new kit, it showcases First Nations artwork, which was designed by Aunty Fiona Clarke.

The design work was made considering the diverse cultural heritage of the country. It also indicates the deep-rooted connection between the country's indigenous communities and cricket. In the launch of the net kit, star all-rounder Glenn Maxwell spoke on it. He said, "It is very typical of our probably previous couple of World Cup kits. Extremely Australian gold, [with] a nice bit of indigenous design on the side as well. So it looks really good, really clean.”
