Netherlands batsman Noah Croes has replaced bowler Ryan Klein in the CWC 2023 squad.

India and Netherlands are set to take on each other on Sunday, 12th of November, in Bengaluru. India, are at the top of the table, have already secured their spot in the semis. Netherlands find themselves at a pivotal juncture, battling for qualification for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.

Netherlands have introduced a strategic change to their squad. Noah Croes has replaced Ryan Klein. For the last league game of ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 against India, they have made one change to their squad.

Noah Croes picked as a replacement for Ryan Klein

Netherlands have roped in batsman Noah Croes as replacement for bowler Ryan Klein, who has been ruled out of team’s last league encounter against India in Bengaluru. Klein suffered a lower back injury, and is set to miss the encounter in Bengaluru.

The Event Technical Committee of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 has approved Noah Croes as a replacement for Ryan Klein in the Netherlands squad. Croes, who has played one ODI, was named as a replacement after Klein was ruled out due to a lower back injury.

The replacement of a player requires the approval of the Event Technical Committee before the player can be officially added to the squad.

The Event Technical Committee of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 consists of Wasim Khan (ICC General Manager – Cricket and ETC Chair), Chris Tetley (ICC Head of Events), Hemang Amin (Acting CEO – BCCI), Gaurav Saxena (General Manager – Operations, BCCI), Russel Arnold and Simon Doull (Independent Representatives).
