Australia will kick-off their ICC T20 World Cup 2024 campaign on June 5 against Oman.

Australia are the winners of the last two ICC senior men’s tournaments. Pat Cummins led them to the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 and the World Test Championship 2023. Now they will be on a mission to win yet another ICC title, but this time in the shortest format of the game. They will enter the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2024 as one of the favourites to win.

Mitchell Marsh has been handed over the captaincy of the star-studded squad. The 2021 winners will face Oman in their opening game on June 5 in Barbados. Australia have some big match-winners in their side, which will make it tough for the fans when they create a Dream11 team. However, to make it easier for you, we will talk here about the five Australian players you must add to your Dream11 team for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024.

Here are the five Australian stars you must have in your Dream11 teams during ICC T20 World Cup 2024:

5. Glenn Maxwell

Some fans will argue because of the form Glenn Maxwell is in at the moment. But not to forget, Maxwell in the IPL and in Australian colours are two different personalities. He is just unbelievable at the international level. Firstly, his bowling will be very effective in the USA and West Indies. Adding to that, he is a brilliant fielder who takes catches at boundary lines, and his batting ability is next to none. He is a T20 package, and you should have him in your team in fantasy cricket platforms.

4. Cameron Green

Cameron Green is another three-dimensional Australian player you should pick for your Dream11 team for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. He bowls medium pace and has a good slower ones, which can be effective in slow tracks. Adding to that, he has improved his power-hitting in T20s, which makes him a valuable asset for the team. Hence, you need him in your Dream11 team.

3. Travis Head

Travis Head will surely be a make-or-break player. But in the form he is in, he is likely to fire consistently. The Southpaw likes to take on the opposition, and if he bats for 6-7 overs, you will get enough points for your Dream11 team. He is a good captain or vice captain material on fantasy cricket platform. Head is coming off a successful IPL 2024 season with the bat.

2. Marcus Stoinis

Marcus Stoinis is another Australian player who can contribute with the bat and the ball. His form in the IPL 2024 was pretty good, and he was one of the top scorers for LSG. Stoinis scored 388 runs at a strike rate of 147.52, with one century and two half-centuries. He also took 4 wickets with the ball. Stoinis bowls a good hard length, which can be vital in the pitches used in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. He is someone who can bat at any position if required.

1. Mitchell Marsh

Just like Maxwell, the Australian captain, Mitchell Marsh, performs well at the international level. He was at his best in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, and his ability to contribute with the bat and the ball make him the right choice for a captain. He bats in top order and bowls a few overs in the middle. That is why you should have him in your Dream11 team.
