ICC T20 World Cup 2024: Jerseys of all 20 teams

ICC T20 World Cup 2024 will be played in USA and the Caribbean Islands in the month of June.

It is time for the biggest tournament in 2024 to start. On June 1, the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 will host its first game. This tournament will be co-hosted by West Indies and the USA. 20 teams have made it to this tournament, and a total of 55 games will be played in the tournament.

The final will take place on June 29. All 20 teams are divided into four groups of five, and the top two teams from each group will make it to the Super 8. The next round will decide the semi-finalists of the tournament. All the teams will reveal their special jerseys for the mega event. Some have already made this announcement, while others are likely to do it soon. On that note, let’s have a look at jerseys revealed so far.

1. Australia

Mitchell Marsh will be leading the Australian side in the mega ICC event. Australia, who usually sport yellow kits, have made a change to their jersey for the T20 World Cup 2024. Australia have introduced a dark green kit for the tournament. Yellow colour also has been used in the kit with an unique pattern on the underarm area. It is the first time since 2016, Australia have not gone with a yellow-dominant kit for an ICC event.

2. India

Team India have also revealed their official kit for the upcoming mega event. The team had a complete sky blue colour kit for the last few ICC events. However, the new kit will see a mix of blue and saffron. The sleeves are of saffron colour, and there are tri-colour strips on the v-shaped neck pattern. The logo is on the left top side, and there is a star above it, representing India’s T20 World Cup 2007 win.

3. Pakistan

Pakistan are one of the strongest teams in the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2024. The PCB revealed the official kit for the upcoming event. The new kit is named β€œMatrix Jersey 24” and has different patterns of green all over. Babar Azam, along with Naseem Shah, Shaheen Afridi, and Mohammad Rizwan, were wearing the net kit as the PCB launched it on social media. Babar will lead Pakistan into its third consecutive edition.

4. South Africa

South Africa will enter the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 with hope of ending their ICC trophy drought. The Rainbow Nation has not won an ICC title in the last two decades. They have announced a great team and will hope that Aiden Markram can do the job. South Africa have kept shades of green and yellow in their kit for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024, which has the nation’s flag printed on the shoulders.

5. New Zealand

New Zealand always make such announcements in a very interesting way. Like the way they announce their teams. Well, with the kit, the Black Caps have certainly made a big change in colour, as they have dropped the traditional black colour and introduced their new kit based on the 1999 World Cup kit, which has shades of grey.

6. Uganda

Uganda were the 20th team to qualify for the ICC T20 World Cup, and they were the first team to announce their official kit for the coming ICC event. It will be their first ever ICC tournament. They have introduced a yellow-dominant kit that has a feather print on the shoulders in yellow and red colors.

7. Nepal

Nepal will be another team from Asia that will feature in the tournament. They are placed in Group D. Nepal have shown some great performances in recent times, and it will be a big tournament for them. Their cricket board revealed that their official kit is pretty similar to that that has been used in recent times. It is based on the Rhino and Everest theme, with blue used mostly and the text mentioned in yellow.

8. Namibia

Namibia have made their mark in the past few years in international cricket and are one of the teams to feature in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. They are placed in Group B. The cricket board has kept its traditional blue colour in the newly launched kit. The kit has a small number of red patches all over it.
