ICC T20 World Cup 2024: Nepal squad, schedule, timings, venues and all you need to know

Nepal will kick off their ICC T20 World Cup 2024 campaign on June 4.
Earlier this month, the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) announced their 15-member squad for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2024. The much-awaited marquee tournament is all set to be jointly hosted by West Indies and USA in June.
The CAN has named 21-year-old Rohit Paudel as their skipper for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024. The line-up consists of many young and talented players who have performed brilliantly in the ACC Premier Cup in Oman and against the West Indies A in a T20I series.
The player to watch out for in the squad will be all-rounder Dipendra Singh Airee. Dipendra hammered six sixes in an over against Qatar in April 2024 during the ACC Premier Cup. Apart from Airee, the selection committee has also named Kushal Bhurtel and Aasif Sheikh, who are top-order batters.
Lalit Rajbanshi will lead Nepal’s spin bowling attack, whereas Karan Khatri and Sompal Kami will take on the responsibilities of the fast bowling attack.
Nepal didn’t qualify for the T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia. In this year’s T20 World Cup, the youngsters in the squad will look to give some memorable performances.
