List of all ICC titles won by Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli made his international cricket debut in 2008.
Virat Kohli has emerged as arguably India’s greatest white-ball batsman. He made his international cricket debut in an ODI game against Sri Lanka in 2008 in Dambulla and quickly cemented his place in the Indian team with consistent performances.
His breakthrough year in his test career came in 2014, when he scored four centuries in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2014-15 during a memorable tour to Australia.
Kohli surpassed Sachin Tendulkar’s record for most ODI centuries during the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 and now trails him in the list of most international centuries.
In his career spanning over 16 years, Kohli has won four ICC titles and is only second Indian cricketer after MS Dhoni to have won all three ICC white-ball titles. However, he failed to do so as captain of the Indian team during his tenure.
On that note, let’s take a look at the list of all ICC titles won by Virat Kohli.
List of all ICC titles won by Virat Kohli:
1. ICC Cricket World Cup 2011
Kohli’s first ICC title came in the form of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011. At 22, Virat emerged as one of India’s key players, scoring 282 runs in nine games at a strike rate of 82.
Kohli started the tournament excellently with a century against Bangladesh in the opening game, but then went through a lean patch.
He played a vital 35-run knock in the final against Sri Lanka, helping India recover from 31/2 to 114/3 in a 275-run chase. India went on to win the game by six wickets.
2. ICC Champions Trophy 2013
Next on Kohli’s radar was the ICC Champions Trophy 2013 in England. By this time Kohli had already transformed in India’s most trusted ODI batsman.
He scored 176 runs in five games at an average of 58.66 and a strike rate of 96 in the tournament. In most games, Kohli had limited opportunities due to the solid opening stand between Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma.
His best innings in the competition came in the final, where he scored 43 runs off 34 balls to help India reach a challenging total of 129 runs in a 20-over-per-side game. India eventually won the match by five runs.
3. ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024
Kohli’s first and only T20 World Cup win came in 2024. After a tough tournament, Virat stepped up in the final, scoring 76 off 59 to help India reach a fighting total of 176/7 in the first innings.
Kohli managed only 75 runs in first seven innings of the tournament, but scored 76 in the final alone when it mattered the most and won Player of the Match award.
He announced his retirement from T20I cricket after the World Cup win.
4. ICC Champions Trophy 2025
Kohli’s second ICC Champions Trophy title came in 2025 in Dubai. He finished the tournament as India’s second-highest run-scorer with 218 runs in five games.
More than the stats, he stepped up for the team when they needed him the most. Two of his best knocks came against Pakistan in the group stage, where he scored an unbeaten century to guide India to a six-wicket win, and against Australia in the semi-finals, where he scored 84 in a tricky 265-run chase.
