ICC U19 World Cup 2024: List of all award winners

Australia defeated India in the final to win ICC U19 World Cup 2024.
India fell short by 79 runs from their record sixth ICC U19 World Cup title as Australia outclassed the defending champions in the final played at Willowmoore Park in Benoni. The second most successful U19 side, Australia have added yet another U19 World Cup title to their cabinet making it four titles now. Batting first, Australia U19 posted a total of 253/7, which is the highest ever total in an ICC U19 World Cup final. Australian bowlers were perfect with their line and length to successfully defend their total.
Right-arm pacer Mahli Beartman (3/15) and off-break bowler Raf MacMillan (3/43) bowled brilliant spells to rattle the Indian middle-order. Breadman got rid of Adarsh Singh (47), Musheer Khan (22) and India U19 captain Uday Saharan (8). MacMillan was instrumental in picking up wickets in the middle overs. 1. Winners – Australia:

Australia ended up as the winners of the ICC U19 World Cup 2024 after defeating India in the final by 79 runs. Australia U19 had to wait for 14 years to add another U19 World Cup trophy to their cabinet. Now they have four ICC U19 World Cup titles to their name. Australia won the tournament unbeaten.
2. Runners-up – India:

India U19 also entered the final unbeaten in the tournament, but failed to win the title clash against Australia and defend the title won by Yash Dhull-led side two years back. This is also the first time India U19 have lost a U19 World Cup final to Australia U19. India ended up as runners-up of the tournament.
3. Player of the Tournament – Kwena Maphaka (South Africa):

South Africa’s Kwena Maphana was awarded the Player of the Series award. Left-arm pacer Kwena Maphaka finished the ICC U19 World Cup 2024 as the leading wicket-taker. He took 21 wickets in six matches for South Africa. Kwena Maphaka picked up three five-wicket haul in the six games he played in the tournament. Kwena Maphaka impressed everyone with his attitude.
4. Player of the Final – Mahli Beardman (Australia):

Australia pace bowler Mahli Beardman won the Player of the Final award for his magnificent bowling spell which left India stranded in a poor position. In his spell of seven overs, Beardman bowled two maidens, conceded only 15 runs and picked three wickets. He dismissed Adarsh Singh (47), Musheer Khan (22) and captain Uday Saharan (8).
