ICC Women's World Cup 2025: India full schedule

India will open their ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 campaign against Sri Lanka.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Monday (16th June) announced the full schedule of the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025. The mega event will be taking place in India, with the Pakistan women’s cricket team playing all their games in Sri Lanka.
The ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 will begin from 30th September with India playing Sri Lanka in the tournament opener. The event will be played over a month, with the final set to take place on 2nd November at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. It will be in Colombo if Pakistan qualify.
Coming to the Indian women’s cricket team, they will be one of the hot favourites to win the event. Since it will be a home tournament for them, there will be a lot of expectations from them, and they would want to come up with something special and lift the Cup.
After the tournament opener against Sri Lanka, India will be taking on arch-rivals Pakistan in their second game. The match will be played in Colombo. Following that, the hosts will return home and go to Vishakapatnam to lock horns with South Africa and Australia in their third and fourth games of the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025.
The Harmanpreet Kaur-led side will then be seen in action against England in Indore. Their last two league games in the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 will be against New Zealand in Guwahati and Bangladesh in Bengaluru.
If they qualify, they will be playing in the semi-finals, which are scheduled to take place on the 29th and 30th of October.
